St. Amelia sends for Simon Ordell to put things right. He finds heavy fog, a town that looks abandoned, and nothing about it at rest.

St. Amelia

Fog-soaked streets, abandoned communities and corners nobody has been back to, all telling their story through atmosphere rather than exposition. Reality and delusion blur slowly enough that you do not notice when it happens.

Run or fight

You have a limited set of weapons and tools. Evasion is tense and drawn out, combat is frantic and short, and neither is something you can lean on. The CRTV, a pocket television, tunes into unstable signals that the rest of the world cannot hear.

A story about consequence

Simon is trying to understand his own connection to the place and the people in it, and fragments of that past keep surfacing. The fear here comes from small details and long silences rather than what jumps out.
