Nioh's depth with a counterspark parry at its centre. Katana, spear, sabre, greatsword, and rifles and pistols too. Learning each enemy's rhythm is the game.

A glider and a grapple

The Avicula glider lets you cross cities from the rooftops, and the grappling rope makes vertical travel fast. Horses for the rest.

Bonds

Real historical figures like Ryoma Sakamoto and Kogoro Katsura become allies or enemies. Their bonds unlock skills, and co-op missions can be played with friends.
