About the game
Requiem for the dead, nightmare for the living. Capcom have been clear about the intent: this one is meant to be hard to keep playing at night.
Fear first
After the action-heavy run of recent entries, Requiem pulls back toward horror — less ammunition, more dark, and more that you cannot fight.
The RE Engine
The same technology behind the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes, which is the reason those games hold up. Expect it to run well and look better than it has any right to.
A new lead
The story follows a new protagonist rather than the established cast, which is how this series has always renewed itself.
