About the game
Miles Upshur follows a tip to Mount Massive Asylum and the doors lock behind him. All he has is a camera with night vision and batteries that run out. Everything else in the building wants him dead.
Run and hide
Lockers, beds, vents. Outlast has no combat at all, and the chases are some of the most frightening moments in the genre.
The camcorder
Night vision is how you see in the dark, and it drains batteries fast. Choosing when to turn it off is a constant, horrible calculation.

Runs on PS5 through backward compatibility. Whistleblower, the prequel DLC, is sold separately.
