This one starts from nothing: your home is destroyed and the story is about putting it back and settling accounts over the divine rings.

Your character

For the first time in the series you create the lead: appearance, voice, movement and even a favourite dish. It changes how the whole story reads.

Build the town

Restoring your hometown is a real system. You invite companions and allies to live there and the place fills out as you go, which makes coming back worth doing.

Battles with the old bones

Break and Boost still decides fights, and you can pull a party of up to eight from more than thirty allies. The new skill system lets allies learn action skills and pass them on to each other.

Path Actions

Path Actions are how you deal with everyone you meet: recruit them for the town, fight them, or relieve them of something. Where you go and what you do with people stays your business. Includes the PS4 and PS5 versions.
