A VPN is worth having for two ordinary reasons: public wifi you should not trust, and content that is not available where you are.

Speed you do not notice

NordLynx is built on WireGuard, and it is quick enough that streaming and gaming are unaffected on a decent connection.

Servers almost everywhere

Thousands of them across sixty-odd countries, which is what actually decides whether a service unblocks.

More than a tunnel

Threat Protection blocks trackers and malicious sites, and the higher plans add a password manager and encrypted storage.
