Ryu Hayabusa, the Dragon Sword, and one of the fastest and most punishing action games ever made, back after fifteen years.

Rebuilt, not upscaled

Stages, characters, effects and lighting have all been redesigned and rendered again in Unreal Engine 5, so it reads as a current game rather than a cleaned-up old one.

Still extremely violent

The dismemberment and blood have been reworked along with everything else, and the weapon list runs from Japanese swords to shuriken, kusarigama and tonfa. If it is not to your taste, dismemberment can be switched off in the options.

More to play with

Content from the spin-offs that followed the original is folded in, including Momiji, Ayane and Rachel as playable characters. Hero Play Style gives automatic help in the hardest moments if you would rather see the game than be flattened by it.
