Mortal Kombat at its most technically confident, with a fighting system that rewards patience and a presentation that is still second to none in the genre.

Make the fighter yours

Custom Variations let you pick which special moves and gear a character brings, so two players on the same fighter can play completely different games.

The story mode is the reason

NetherRealm's cinematic campaigns are the best in fighting games, and this one carries the saga forward with time travel and a great deal of nonsense played entirely straight.

Every hit lands

The graphics engine puts you close enough to the fight to regret it. Krypt, towers and online modes fill out the rest.
