Vito Scaletta gets off the boat from Sicily by way of a battlefield, and Joe Barbaro is waiting with a plan that is already going wrong.

Two decades, one city

The story runs from wartime rationing into the fifties, and Empire Bay changes underneath it — the cars, the music, the clothes and who is in charge.

Joe

The friendship at the centre of it is the best thing Hangar 13 have written, and the ending depends entirely on whether you believed in it.

Remastered properly

Textures, lighting and models redone, running at modern resolutions and frame rates, with all three DLC chapters included.

The soundtrack

Fully licensed period radio across two eras, which is half the reason people drive slowly in this one.
