About the game
Kena travels to an abandoned village to reach the mountain shrine, and finds spirits that cannot move on. Helping them means fighting the corruption that holds them, with a staff, a bow and a growing crowd of little black creatures called the Rot.
The Rot
They hide everywhere and you collect them. In fights they can be sent to distract or smash, and in the world they move objects and clear the way. They are also extremely cute.
Combat with weight
Parries, dodges, charged shots and spirit bombs. The bosses are the highlight and hit harder than the art style suggests.
PS4 and PS5
One purchase covers both. The PS5 version runs at 60fps with haptics and a photo mode that is genuinely worth using.
