Combat Evolved rebuilt rather than resurfaced: the same fights, the same ring, running properly and looking the way you remember it rather than the way it was.

The ring

The Chief crash lands on a ringworld called Halo and has to keep the surviving humans alive against Covenant forces. Cortana works out what the ring is actually for, and it is worse than an alien army.

Rebuilt throughout

High-definition visuals, new cinematics and animation, a remastered soundtrack, rebuilt sound design and refined level design and controls. There are also three new missions with the Chief and Sergeant Johnson.

More to play with

A wider set of weapons, vehicles and enemies, plus Skulls: optional modifiers that change how combat works and give you reasons to run it again.

However you want to play it

Solo, two-player split screen on console, or up to four online with crossplay and cross-progression.
