FragPunk plays like a tactical shooter until the Shard Cards come out, at which point the round stops obeying its own rules.

Cards that break things

Shoot a teammate to make them faster. Crouch, lay an egg, eat it for health. Cards combine and counter each other, so drafting them is its own tactical layer on top of the shooting. All of them are free to every player, permanently.

Pick a Lancer

Each Lancer has their own kit and a lot of personality. Rocket launchers, traps, invisibility and a drone tank are all on the table depending on who you take.

The Duel

A tie sends the match to a one-on-one showdown with nothing to hide behind. It is also available on its own in the Arcade if that is the part you like.
