Isaac Clarke goes aboard the USG Ishimura to repair it and finds it has gone very badly wrong. Nicole is somewhere on the ship, and so is whatever killed everyone else.

Cut the limbs off

Shooting a Necromorph in the chest does nothing at all. You dismember them with mining tools, which is why the plasma cutter is one of the great video game weapons.

No interface to hide behind

Health runs up Isaac's spine, ammunition is projected off the gun, and menus hang in the air while the ship carries on around you. Nothing ever pauses.

One unbroken ship

The remake makes the Ishimura a single continuous space with no loading between decks, and Isaac now speaks. Tighter and considerably darker than the original.
