Time cuts both ways

Travelling back is how you make progress and how you get into trouble. What you do in one era shows up in the other, and the game is happy to let you make things worse.

Do not let them join

The creatures here can merge with each other, and a monster that absorbs another becomes something much harder to put down. Burning a corpse before it gets used is often the difference between a fight and a disaster.

Resources you will run out of

Ammunition and health are tight enough that running is a real option. This is the Deluxe Edition, which starts you with a core resource, pistol and shotgun ammunition, health packs, energy, two armour skins and the digital artbook and soundtrack.
