Gabriel is a soldier carrying out a mission handed down by the Sun God. The island of Tormentosa is beautiful, and there is something badly wrong with all of it.

The island

Ruins, twisting streets and quiet landscapes hide a history of cults and blood sacrifice. Peeling that back is most of what you do here, and the folklore it draws on is real enough to be uncomfortable.

Blood is the ammunition

Your own blood powers your weapons and solves your puzzles, and using it drains you. Every fight becomes a question of how much you can afford to spend before the thing in front of you goes down.

Upgrade carefully

Coins found across Tormentosa improve your weapons, and upgrading your blood powers lets you hit harder or last longer. Choosing the right tool for a room matters more than raw damage.

Statues that move

Hispania mixes real history, folklore and religion into something genuinely unpleasant, and the enemies include vast idols that should not be able to move at all.
