Boost or lose

Chaining drift boosts through a corner is the whole skill, and the game does not soften it for newcomers. Learning a track properly is genuinely rewarding.

What the edition adds

Nitros Oxide, Crunch, Zem and Zam, the Hovercraft kart, Star Skins for Oxide, Crash, Coco and Cortex with their own podium animations, a Crunch Robot skin, a kart paintjob, sticker pack and decal, and Electron skins.

A note on what needs a connection

Wumpa Coins, online multiplayer, the Pit Stop and the Wumpa Challenge system all need an internet connection. The characters above can also be unlocked in-game in the standard version.
