You are Eivor, a Norse raider who sails to England with a clan that needs land. What follows is a story told across the whole island, from the Saxon kingdoms to the fens, with a settlement that grows as you do.

Raids and longships

Sail up a river, sound the horn, and your crew storms a monastery with you. The raids feed your settlement, and the settlement is where the game's best quiet moments happen.

Heavy combat

Dual-wield axes, throw a shield, take a limb off with a finisher. Valhalla is the most physical the series has been, with a skill tree big enough to build a very different Eivor.

A very long game

The main arc alone is sixty hours, and the map is dense with mysteries, world events and things to fish out of rivers. If you want one game to live in for a season, this is it.
