Shadows gives you two protagonists with almost nothing in common and lets you decide which one a job belongs to.

Naoe, in the dark

The shinobi works with light, sound and shadow, and the game actually tracks all three. Grappling hook, shuriken, smoke, and a hidden blade for the end of it. Getting through a fortress without anyone raising their voice is the whole pleasure.

Yasuke, in the open

The samurai is the other answer. Silent bow work when it suits, and a katana or naginata when it does not, with combat weighty enough that being spotted stops feeling like a failure.

A country that keeps moving

Castle towns, shrines and open country run through changing seasons and weather, and both affect how an approach plays out. Walls and structures give way under pressure, which changes routes on the spot.
