You land somewhere with nothing on it but natural resources, and turn that into whatever you want — tools first, then furniture, then terrain, then an island that looks like a decision.

It keeps your time

The clock and the seasons match the real ones, so bugs, fish and events come and go on their own schedule. Checking in for twenty minutes a day is the way most people play it.

Neighbours with opinions

A cast of animal residents with real personalities who write to you, turn up at your house and remember what you have said. Which villagers you get is half the fun.

Visit and be visited

Show your island to family and friends online or on the same sofa, and go and see what other people have done with theirs.
