Saga Anderson arrives in Bright Falls to work a string of ritualistic killings and finds pages of a horror story that keep coming true around her. Alan Wake is writing them from somewhere else.

Two cases, swapped at will

Saga profiles and reconstructs in her Mind Place. Alan rewrites scenes to change the world he is stuck in. You move between them, and each one throws light on the other.

Light is the weapon

Burn the darkness off an enemy with a torch before a bullet will touch them, and manage batteries and ammunition carefully. Survival horror, properly resourced.

Remedy at full strength

Live action woven into the game, a soundtrack that carries whole sequences, and a sense of humour that arrives exactly when the tension needs breaking.
