Havenswell, and what is under it

The last city is the whole map: flooded sewers, slums stacked on slums, and a city floating over the lake above them all. You work downward and outward looking for why the world ended.

Not human, exactly

Bladers look like people but were made by technology nobody left alive understands. Yours draws on something called the Branches, which is why a fatal wound is an inconvenience rather than an ending.

Fights that ask for patience

Combat is deliberate and reads your positioning. Enemies punish a greedy swing, and the game expects you to learn a fight rather than out-stat it.
